根據(jù)國(guó)務(wù)院機(jī)構(gòu)的調(diào)整和國(guó)務(wù)院領(lǐng)導(dǎo)同志的指示精神，經(jīng)外交部審核并征求各部門意見，我們對(duì)《國(guó)務(wù)院各部委、各直屬機(jī)構(gòu)英文譯名》（國(guó)辦秘函〔1998〕337號(hào)）作了修訂。此次修訂的英文譯名，本著“尊重歷史、照顧現(xiàn)實(shí)、注重本部門意見、參考英語(yǔ)國(guó)家相應(yīng)用法”的原則，盡可能兼顧了譯法統(tǒng)一和政府職能的轉(zhuǎn)變。此外，對(duì)中文名稱未冠以“中華人民共和國(guó)”或“中國(guó)”字樣的單位在對(duì)外交往中如何把握的問(wèn)題在附注中作了說(shuō)明。為方便工作，現(xiàn)將修訂的《國(guó)務(wù)院各部委、各直屬機(jī)構(gòu)英文譯名》印發(fā)給你們。
